Scientific Games Powering Atlantic City’s New Hard Rock Casino

As part of its ongoing partnership with the Seminole Tribe, Scientific Games will be powering the gaming floor of the new Hard Rock Hotel and Casino in Atlantic City. The venue officially opened in June of this year, with the casino boasting 2,200 slot machines and 120 table games.

Scientific Games has provided a full, cutting-edge suite of technology ranging from gaming products to accounting and data management. Its SDS Slot Management System tracks player data on the casino floor, while the Beverage Ordering System aims to keep players in seats by allowing them to order refreshments from touchscreens adjacent to their chosen games. SG’s focus on touchscreen-based tech is further evident with its iVIEW 4 and iVIEW DM which gives operators the ability to customize the game screen and display dynamic advertisements.

There’s more to the SG suite at the new Hard Rock than what meets the eye, though. Behind the scenes the CMP Casino Management System provides a centralized platform for accounting, promotions, and overall operations. This has been paired with the Business Intelligence (BI) application, which gathers performance data and suggests growth opportunities for the casino and its operations.

Hard Rock International is under ownership by the Seminole tribe of Florida, with whom Scientific Games has enjoyed a strong business relationship for some years. Today the tribe is considered one of SG’s largest and most important systems users.

We have a long-standing partnership with Hard Rock and the Seminole Tribe, which has included collaborating on innovative new technologies for casino operations which enhance both the employee experience and as well as the end customer experienceCath Burns,Senior Vice President of Gaming Systems at Scientific Games

Burns continued, stating, “This collaboration has given Scientific Games valuable input and feedback in developing our top-tier systems and gaming products, which we hope has helped give Hard Rock a competitive advantage in their markets and with their players.”
