NetEnt Launches Mobile-First Live Dealer Blackjack

The Swedish digital gaming company has released a live dealer blackjack game designed with mobile casino gamblers as priority users.

Titled Mobile Standard Blackjack, the mobile-first version of twenty-one continues an interesting trend in the online casino industry, which has seen the popularity of both live-dealer games and mobile play soar in recent years.

The game uses HTML5 technology to deliver a touch-point table version of live-dealer blackjack suitable for play on either smartphones or tablets. The setup uses a close angle design, allowing players to experience the gameplay from closer than was previously possible on mobile casino platforms. The game does not require the download of any apps to be playable on devices in the UK.

A pre-decision feature allows punters to speed up gameplay. Side bets are also available. The company hopes the new mobile-optimised version of live blackjack will bring the players closer to the action, and allow for closer parity between desktop and mobile live-dealer platforms.

Evolution Gaming, one of NetEnt’s major competitors in the live-dealer casino space, has also been optimising its streams for mobile. The company, which has its main studio in Riga, Latvia, says it has seen a huge upsurge in its Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) as a result of incorporating its live games into the apps of online casinos in the UK.

Henrik Fagerlund, Chief Product Officer at NetEnt, said: “We are now extending our mobile live casino portfolio and are very excited with the results. Our mission is to develop the player’s favourite mobile live casino, together with our customers.”

Our team has designed the game based on insights from real players, their needs and demands. Players can now enjoy this game like ever before and we’re sure that with our custom-built and optimised features, Mobile Standard Blackjack will be a successful addition to our customer’s live casino offerings with unique opportunities to strengthen every customer’s exclusive brand. Henrik Fagerlund, Chief Product Officer at NetEnt

Mobile Standard Blackjack is available at selected NetEnt-partnered casino operators from Friday 17th November 2017.
