A Quick Guide to the BetVictor Casino Terms and Conditions

No one loves reading the small print. I don’t either. But, luckily for you, so that you have the complete low-down on the BetVictor casino, I have sacrificed what feels like a year of my life trawling through the complete BetVictor Casino terms and conditions just to make sure that there is nothing out of the ordinary that you need to know about. Although all online casinos are required by UK law to conform to a number of strict regulations if they offer services to British punters, it is still worth being aware of exactly what you are agreeing to whenever you play. As Mum used to say, better safe than sorry.

Contents of the User Agreement

In order to have all the knowledge you need to gamble safely online, you can check out the BetVictor Casino terms and conditions in full. If you have any specific problems I would recommend that you get in touch with the operator via live chat, but you can also contact me at contact@casinoreviews.co.uk and I will get back to you as soon as possible. Below, I will take you through some of the key points of the BetVictor Casino terms of service, as of July 2018.

1. Definitions and Interpretation

2. The Terms

3. About BetVictor, Disputes and Complaints

4. Responsible Gambling

5. Opening and Maintaining an Account

5.1 If the Age Check has not been completed within seventy-two (72) hours of the Customer applying to register an Account and depositing money, the Customer will be unable to use the Product until the Customer is verified to be of the Minimum Age. If, following further verification, it is discovered that the Customer is not the Minimum Age, the Account, deposits and winnings will be dealt with in accordance with Clause 10.2.

Comment: This is standard now in the UK casino industry and is an important part of keeping young people safe. It does, however, mean that you can easily have your account closed or blocked if you do not provide the correct identification documents.

6. Account Transfers, Deposits and Withdrawals

6.1 BetVictor will delete a Customer’s credit and/or debit card details linked to the Account where they are not used for a period of twenty-four (24) months or more.

Comment: If you are worried about your card details being kept by the operator for this long a period of time, then I recommend you consider using an e-wallet in order to make deposits and withdrawals.

7. Use of the Product

8. Sports Bets and Casino Wagers

9. Prohibited Practices

10. Account Issues

10.1 BetVictor shall provide notice in writing to the Customer informing the Customer that his/her Account has become an Inactive Account and that the Inactive Account Charge will be applied if the Account is not reactivated. Following the expiry of a thirty (30) day period from such the date of the notice, BetVictor may apply the Inactive Account Charge until the Inactive Account balance reaches zero. Once the Customer’s account balance falls below GB £5, then the entire remaining balance may be deducted.

Comment: This is a really important thing to be aware of with online casinos. If, for whatever reason, you do not use your account for over a year, BetVictor will deem your account inactive, and after 30 days will charge your account until the balance reaches zero. They will then close the account. This could become very expensive if you are to forget about an account.

11. Account Closure by Customer

12. Errors and Omissions

12.1 Any monies which are credited by BetVictor the Account, or paid to the Customer as a result of an Error shall be held by the Customer on trust for BetVictor and shall be refunded to BetVictor when a demand for payment is made by BetVictor to the Customer and where the Customer has funds in the Account, BetVictor may retain such funds.

Comment: Errors like this are rare. But if you think you may have been credited through an error, it is best to contact customer services. If you bet the money, then you will owe it to BetVictor if it is found that an error has occurred.

13. Intellectual Property Rights

14. Limitation of Liability

15. Privacy

16. Miscellaneous Provisions
